Friday, August 13
When the surgeon coordinator asked if I was superstitious, I said no, so she scheduled me for Friday, the 13th!
It seems like it will work out ideally to minimize time away from work too, with major recovery over the weekend and hopefully working some from home that next week. Then hopefully one week in the office and then our week of vacation, where I will continue to recover.
So, that's the plan, Stan! And I am feeling like this is the right next step. I'm feeling postive about things, whereas I hadn't in awhile. Maybe sometimes just having a plan helps. I sure hope this will help us!
13 can be considered a very lucky number in some cultures!!! So hopefully this surgery will lead to your miracle!!
ReplyDeleteWay to stay positive. I hope the surgery will go well. Keep thinking good thooughts!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you are feeling positive with this step. I wish you tons of luck for your upcoming surgery.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I live on the 13th floor of an apartment bldg, most do not even have 13th floors. I think it is good luck :)
I almost got married on the 13th to save money on the reception hall since it's cheaper on all Friday the 13ths.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck!! Everything will go great!
So glad you scheduled the surgery! I hope & pray it helps too. A Friday is convenient, especially so your hubby can wait on you for a few days!
ReplyDeleteI am glad your surgery is scheduled. The "known" is often easier than the "unknown". Get that sucker out of your uterus!
ReplyDeleteGood deal! I'm sure it feels good to have this scheduled.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Once my surgery was scheduled I felt that I could look forward to taking a postive step on my to TTC again. Honestly, it was really helpful to have a break from thinking about it all the time.
ReplyDeleteRight on ! High Five ! Go get them Tiger !
ReplyDeleteI'm cheering for you as you can see. My laptop is on fire with rapid enthusiastic typing.
Happy ICLW

Stopping by from ICLW (and getting a late start). You must feel relieved now that you've got your surgery scheduled--even if it is Friday the 13th. LOL! I always do better with a plan.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Wishing you successful surgery and a speedy recovery ...

I'm glad you're not superstitious! In fact, that's probably the best day to schedule anything, since most people will be too afraid to schedule anything on that date, so the doctors will have more time to concentrate on each patient :)
ReplyDeleteHope it goes well, and that the recovery is quick and as painless as possible!
Happy ICLW!
good luck. hope the surgery goes well.
